New service hub Algeciras

ALGECIRAS

Shipping recognizes no borders — only trade routes and operational reach. This philosophy has always defined GARANT GROUP: maintaining operational presence wherever our clients’ vessels trade and ensuring uninterrupted fleet support worldwide.

Following the successful establishment of our operations in Las Palmas in 2016, we are now taking another strategic step in strengthening our global maritime service network by expanding our operational capabilities in the Port of Algeciras — one of the world’s key maritime logistics and transshipment hubs.

The new operational setup includes:

  • a dedicated marine safety and firefighting equipment service station;
  • mobile riding squads;
  • expanded warehousing and spare parts infrastructure designed to support vessels operating across major international trade lanes.

Together, Algeciras and Las Palmas form a strategic maritime service corridor connecting key shipping routes between Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. This dual-hub operating model enables faster response times, reduced downtime risks, stronger supply chain reliability, and enhanced operational continuity for shipowners and fleet operators.

The new technical center has been developed as a full-scope operational platform covering:

  1. inspection, testing, certification, and servicing of marine safety and firefighting equipment;
  2. rapid-response logistics support and onboard technical interventions;
  3. warehousing of spare parts and specialized marine equipment;
  4. project cargo coordination, technical consultancy, and long-term fleet support.

This is not a representative office or administrative branch.

It is a fully operational maritime service and logistics hub supporting vessel safety, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and business continuity across the global shipping industry.

As our international network continues to grow, so do the opportunities for our teams — enabling specialists to participate in global maritime projects, collaborate with leading shipowners and operators, and contribute to critical maritime infrastructure worldwide.
