Vessel Hull Repair Engineer-Technologist
Location: Klaipėda

Our Ship Maintenance and Repair Division is looking for an Engineer-Technologist to work with vessel hull repair projects.

Job Description

  • Preparation of the technological process of ship hull repair, participation in the production/repair process, quality assurance
  • Coordination of technologies, volumes, procedures with different institutions
  • Putting new metal structures into production
  • Preparation and administration of technical documentation
  • Technological supervision, control and improvement of production processes
  • Work in Lithuania and short-term business trips abroad

Competences

  • Experience in design/repair of hull and metal structures is an advantage.

  • Professional education
  • Ability to work with AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • Good command of English and Russian

Location: Klaipėda, Lithuania

A Service Engineer is needed to carry out repair of marine engines and mechanical equipment in our Ship Repair & Maintenance Division

Job description

  • Diagnostics of ship engines, equipment and mechanisms failures
  • Repairs in Klaipeda unit and on board ships
  • Organization of work at objects
  • Communication with the ship's crew
  • Communication with the office
  • Preparation of technical documentation and repair reports

Competences

  • Diploma of Higher education, Bachelor’s degree or vocational degree in mechanics
  • Experience in diesel engine repair
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical parts repair
  • Availability to go on frequent business trips abroad (about 2/3 of the working time)
  • Easy to communicate
  • Ability to analyse mechanical/engineering assembly drawings
  • Great command of English and Russian
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Analytical thinking, problemsolving skills, goal orientation, ability to work independently and in a team
  • Driver’s licence

Job description

  • Carry out inspections of ship lifesaving and rescue appliances, fire and personal protection systems
  • Registration of issued documents on board
  • Prioritization of ongoing service works
  • Delivery of goods to customers
  • Administration of accompanying documents

Competences

  • Technical / Engineer education, understanding of drawings
  • Special skills in auto mechanics, cranes, electronic systems
  • Analytical thinking, problemsolving skills, goal orientation, ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to make quick decisions
  • Availability to go on frequent business trips, about 3/4 of the working time
